Transformed Accounting was built around a simple belief: the numbers should make sense to you, not just to your accountant.
Before Transformed Accounting, I served in the Army, then spent years running my own HVAC company. Running that business taught me most of what I know about the day-to-day reality small business owners live with — cash flow that doesn't arrive on a predictable schedule, the pressure of payroll, and how easy it is to let the books slide when you're busy running jobs.
Along the way, I found that the part of the business I actually loved most was the numbers side — understanding what the financials were telling me and using that to make better decisions. That discovery is what led me to accounting and tax, and eventually to starting this firm.
I'm currently pursuing a degree in accounting alongside the Enrolled Agent (EA) credential, because I want the technical foundation to match the practical experience.
Outside of work, I'm a husband and father of five, and most of our free time as a family goes to getting outside together — camping, hiking, or just being outdoors, whatever the season allows.
The name reflects what good accounting should do for a business: take a set of scattered transactions and turn them into a clear, usable picture — and take a stressful, reactive relationship with taxes and turn it into a planned, proactive one.
That's the standard this firm is held to, client by client.
Every client relationship starts with actually understanding your situation — your business, your goals, and what "good" looks like for your finances — before any numbers get touched. From there, it's about consistency: clean monthly books, clear communication, and no surprises when a return is filed.
